I am trying to solve a little mystery.

I have 2 main websites, both using the genesis theme framework. One of the sites (A) uses only Genesis 2.2.3, and the other site (B) uses Genesis 2.2.3 with a Parallax Pro child theme.

I have installed Google Analytics on both sites.

But oddly, site A (but not site B) seems to send information about special "events" such as pdf downloads and clicks to Google Analytics. I can find this information under the "Behavior" section. Here is a screenshot:https://www.dropbox.com/s/9a13zc1nwotxzl9/Screenshot%202015-10-28%2008.38.40.png?dl=0

This information is not available for site B, but for the life of me I cannot figure out why.

I do not have any plugins on site A that are not on site B (for example, Yoast is on both).

Does anyone have any insights into this? I am trying to learn how to use more advanced analytics features (i.e. Google Tag Manager), but first I need to figure out why Site A is automatically tracking these events.

    Thank you!

You can create events, goals etc in GA and add the code in Genesis globally using the Header and Footer scripts or on any single page or post.

    Or

You can even load GA conditionally using a custom function.

    Ok, I figured it out!

I actually do have a different plugin installed on site A (Better analytics).
