Hi, I recently purchased the Genesis and Prose child theme. I've just created a new menu and added my categories to the menu so they appear across the screen as part of the navigation. Now how do I get the posts within that category to show as excerpts with thumbnails beside them? (similar to what the Genesis - Featured Posts does in the sidebar) However I would like them to be showing in the main post area after the category has been chosen from the navigation bar above the header.
No doubt there'd be a plugin to do this however if it's easy enough to do I'd rather do it within the theme.

I've just added 3 posts to the test category so these should show as excerpts only.
Can you please clarify your question.
Your posts are now displaying as excerpts with thumbnails beside them.
What do you want to change?
Hi Brad, I resolved it by using your existing topic -
I've been back into the posts and added a "Featured Image" and then changed the Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives > Select one of the following: Chose 'Display Post Content' and then set the Limit content to xxx characters field.
