    Hi there,

I am using the eleven40 theme.

Is there a way to modify the [post_categories] shortcode to only display the parent categories instead of all the categories that it current displays?

    Thanks!

I've not tried it but I think you can use the genesis_post_categories_shortcode filter.

    Hey Chris,

I can't seem to find anything about a genesis_post_categories_shortcode filter?

Information around it is a little sketchy.

It's listed on the filter reference here: http://my.studiopress.com/docs/filter-reference/

    This might help: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/filter-an-array
