    Greetings,

    My goal is to only show one sub-category in meta description.

    For example, if a post is in "Health" (parent category) and also in "Nutrition" (a sub-category of 'Health'), I would like to only see "Nutrition" in the meta description.

    Also, not sure if it is important for me to mention this, but I use the Genesis Grid plugin.

    Thank you. I really appreciate your help.

    Not sure if this will solve your issue (depending on how you have your taxonomy setup), but check out this tutorial by Davinder Singh Kainth.
