I want the featured image to show up as a banner just on one category of posts and not any other category. I need the other posts to have featured images so my archives format nicely, so leaving them empty (the obvious solution) isn't going to work.
I'm thinking I need a php solution to move the featured image into the main page content.
Ideas? I've been combing thru content online and have only seen people moving the featured image up above the title.
Thanks!
The featured image of what in that one category? Are you trying to assign a Featured Image to a category? Or are you trying to take the featured image of the most current blog post and place that as the featured image?

Hi Anita,
I want to add the featured image for each post as a banner on the top of each page but only for that one category.
The featured images for other categories should only appear on archives, not as page banners.
See what I mean?
Thanks!
I'm using the featured image for the banner.
I'd like to display post info in an archive with an image- but don't want that featured image to appear on the banner for posts in just that category.
The image appears to be loaded before the category.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
