A while back I installed some updates to Genesis not realizing that the original theme had been modified (I am new in this position and the person who set up our WordPress site did some customizations). When I installed the Genesis update most of the content on the site diappeared. While I worked on figuring out how to restore the pages, somehow the site was completely restored on its own. But the breadcrumbs indicated that these pages are actually archives, and now when we do new updates to the site, the live webpage still shows the archived material and not what we updated. Is there a way to get rid of the archive content and post the actual page content in its place?

The page in question is this:
    http://www.cvclt.org/homeownershipcenter/homes-for-sale/

note the breadcrumbs say "You are here: Home / Archives for Homeownership Center / Homes for Sale"

I don't want the archive, but rather the new, updated content. Help!

PS: take it easy on me, I'm a WordPress rookie.

The "Archive For" can be changed by following these instructions - http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/breadcrumbs/. Archive isn't just showing an older archive - it's an archive of everything by category.
