I've had nothing but battles with News Pro and WordPress ever since the 4.4 update introduced responsive/automatically resizing images.

A site to look at is http://www.geeknative.com where the homepage's article list (scroll down) is supposed to use 150x150 thumbs. The code says 150x150 in the height and width attributes of the right img tag but the images, clearly, aren't showing at that size.

A similar problem can be seen on an article page where, randomly, some of the images shrink, ignoring their size attributes.

I've done the usual plugins on/off checking and can't isolate any one plugin that might be encouraging the site to ignore HTML. As anyone battled this before?

I appreciate the homepage is fluid so here's a snap.

Perhaps the title is misleading. Is anyone aware of anything which might cause images to appear in the wrong size?

I've tracked down the source of the problem to a setting within the Jetpack plugin (I'm on the latest). The Photon CDN seems to be the root cause; disabling it solves the problem.
