Hi, i've just installed Genesis and there's no Design Settings option in the admin area.
Do i need to install something else to activate it?

Screen grab from a review.. http://tinypic.com/r/9i8is0/5

    thanks

    Hi!

Genesis doesn't have a Design Settings panel by default. It looks like the reviewer in question was using the Prose child theme, which does include Design Settings. You can add some of those options by installing the Genesis Design Palette plugin, though.

I found the review you read - I can't believe the author didn't mention which child theme he was using. Don't be afraid, though! There are TONS of tutorials online if you run into trouble. All you have to do is search for something like "genesis how to change ___" and you'll almost always find detailed instructions from one of the awesome community members and/or designers who use Genesis. If not, you can always post here in the forums and we'll do our best to help!
