Baffled by this, looking for help.
There is a media library but only for things that are added since it broke. Via FTP I can see the old media library is still there.

Not sure if it was the deletion of a plugin but it's one of the last things that I did before I lost the connection to the media library.

    Running WP 3.9.2, News-Pro theme.

I have reinstalled a new version of WP, News-Pro
    I have disabled all plugins.
I have repaired each table in system (myphpadmin)
I have backed up the entire site (now) with BackupBuddy 5.0.2.8
I have used the 'restore' function on BlueHost cpanel to a week ago
I have run Sucuri scans for malware and other issues but it comes up clean http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/www.fresyes.com/

    Desperately need help! Any ideas?

It was a business directory plugin - that didn't like. It might also be the one we do like.
deleted it via ftp - and rebuilt each of the tables - still no joy.
    🙁

So the images were associated with the business directory?

Nope - not fixed. Transferring images one group at a time via the plugin but they still don't always reconnect to the posts.

If you have any caching plugins installed, you should clear your cache. At least it's basically working for you on most of them. What you should do is look at the link for the image - go to that folder and look to see if it's in there. If it's not, add it there.
