    Hi, I need to decrease the padding between the navigation (area blow Contact on top right) and where the content starts (above YOU ARE HERE: HOME). Seems like a waste of space to me, can be more reading real estate.

    Also, is it possible to place a logo instead of the text WP headline?

    Have you ever tried using the "Inspect Element" feature of the Chrome browser? Using that, you can get an "x-ray view" of your CSS code, and it will help you see where some of the things such as "extra space" are coming from.

    Here's a video tutorial that might help:

    I used "Inspect Element" to find at least one way to decrease the amount of extra space below your "CONTACT" area...if you look in your style sheet you will see the following code:
    .site-header {
    background: #319a54 url(images/pattern.png);
    background-size: 10px 10px;
    color: #fff;
    padding: 40px 0 200px;
    overflow: hidden;
    }

    I was able to remove a lot of that extra space by changing the "padding-below" number (currently 200px) to a lower number.

    Maybe you can try that.
