    Hi, folks. I created a new site with Authority Pro (rdelrossi.com) and love how it's developing. My question has to do with modifying the blog's home page. Ideally, I'd like to place some general text about the blog's mission above the list of articles.

    In the customizer, under Homepage Settings, I have it set to "Your homepage displays...Your latest posts."

    The trouble is, I don't really understand how this page is generated. Is there a way I could, for example, add a new widget area above the article list so that I could insert some text there?

    Appreciate any pointers! Thanks in advance.

    Wow, no sooner did I post this, something that I said in the first message triggered a thought: Genesis Simple Hooks.

    I could've (perhaps should've) just deleted this, but I just wanted to note how grateful I am for having access to such a wonderfully flexible framework as Genesis!
