    Hi:
Here’s the URL for the site I’m working on, as described below: http://www.lowspark.us
I'm using the Centric Pro theme, and I need to display 3 images with associated captions, as in the Home 4 Widgets area of the demo theme (the area with the "Unlimited Everything", "Search Engine Optimized", and "Airtight Security and Updates" content , here: http://demo.studiopress.com/centric/ ).

In the demo theme, this is accomplished with the Featured Posts widget. On my site, though, I'd like each of those images/headers to link back to specific pages, not posts, on my site. I've tried customizing the Featured Posts widget in order to change the default linking behavior, but ran into a dead end.

I've also tried using the Featured Pages widget, but that generates a vertical stack of my 3 pages, rather than a horizontal row. I tried customizing that with CSS, but ran into responsiveness issues.

Anyone know how to square this circle?

    Thanks! ~ MB

    Thanks for the idea, genwrock.

I installed this and tried it out; unfortunately, I don't think it will solve my problem, since there doesn't seem to be any way to assign different link URLs to each of the 3 featured posts.

I tried running three instances of the widget, each set to display only one post, but those 3 featured posts then displayed as a vertical stack, rather than the horizontal row I'm looking for.

    Any other thoughts?

Working with this a little more, I notice that it doesn't seem to be possible to apply different excerpt character limits on a per-post basis either, which is a problem...
