    Hi,

I would like to customize my attachment.php page from my child genesis theme. How can I do it?

    Thanks and best regards

I'm not sure if this is the answer, but have you looked at the Genesis Layout Extras plugin:

I've installed Layout Extras plugin, and it does NOT do everything I want. It, basically, just adds a couple extra page/post styles as options for the image attachment page, and, even then, it doesn't work right. I am now looking at another post on this topic (Style attachment page) from about a year ago, to see if I can make any of that work. Basically, I want my image attachment page to look like a landing page: no author, date, sidebars, header, title, meta, footer, etc. Just blank, so I can talk to my visitor and lead them through a process.

Anyone wanna update Genesis Layout Extras to make it do these things, too?

Just take all the remove_action()'s from a landing page template, add it to attachment.php and then tweak from there. Really, no plugin necessary.
