    Referencing this closed thread (my mistake for marking it resolved, sorry):

    How to make *simple* custom archive page in a Genesis child theme

    Trying to understand the process of making customizations in a Genesis child theme, specifically to remove the links from post titles on archive screens.

    Brad Dalton's information in the above-referenced thread was very helpful, as was this post on his blog: http://wpsites.net/web-design/3-ways-to-unlink-or-remove-entry-title-perma-links/ Thanks very much, Brad! I really appreciate your time and assistance. I'm gradually beginning to understand how a Genesis child theme is supposed to be done.

    Not sure if you still have a question or not? If so could you please state it again, and also post a link to your site where you're trying to implement it.
