Hey I hope everyone is well.
    It's been a while, but...
A few years ago I knew a way create a page with some content on it. (not an archive page)
I then wanted to add posts from a category below the content.
I'm sure I did this by using custom fields with a query argument???

Looking for help on this as It was a cool way to make a page of specific categories.

    Thanks in advance
    Lee

I think what you are looking for is this one:

    Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)

You can use a custom field that returns a set of posts (Post Object)

    Thanks upthink.
That isn't what I have done in the past but it looks interesting.
Looks a little complicated to use. Have you used it and what is it like?

I use Advanced Custom Fields all the time, and it is one of the few plugins I would say have a place in every website. It's not too complicated, it's VERY well documented, and it is extremely powerful. My current site in progress would be a nightmare to create without it, so there's my 10/10 vote for it 🙂

    Thats it!, thanks Brad.
    [Instantly book marked that page]
    I knew someone would know.
I've looked at that ACF and whilst it looks quite powerful it would take a while for me to learn it all .

    Thanks again,
    Love your your work.
