    Hello awesome Genesis WP Nijnas-

I am making css changes to the news pro theme via ftp (I am using Coda as an ftp and text editor). When I save the changes and upload them via ftp, the css file updates in the appearance-editor panel, but my changes are not rendering in the browser window.

I have cleared my cache in every way possible, disabled and enabled any caching plugins to see if that made a difference, and even tried making changes and viewing them in an incognito window to avoid caching and still no luck. I really don't think it is a caching issue, but I don't know why my css changes update in the backend and appearance-editor panel, but are not rendering on the front end..

    Help please??

After you upload, view the css from your browser. You can install the web developer plugin if you don't have it already for your browser. Make sure your changes are at the bottom of the file as those are the last ones that will be rendered.

What I have been doing with all these child themes is either using the JetPack css editor, or installing Simple Custom CSS plugin, because both of those are rendered last and usually work. Sometimes I have to use !important beside the style but I don't like to important everything. If I do this, then at least the original child stylesheet is intact and not alerted in case I need go back to it.
