    I would love it if the background area of my blog content was white instead of the background image which is a grey pattern. It just feels a little hard to read. Could someone tell me how to go about doing that or direct me to someone who I can hire to do this, and a couple other tweaks I'd like to make. Thanks ~

    body.custom-background {
    background-color: #eeeeee;
    background-image: url('http://itsawahmlife.com/wp-content/themes/scribble/images/bg.png');
    background-repeat: repeat;
    background-position: top left;
    background-attachment: fixed;
    }

    You'll want to comment out the background image and change the background color to #fff

    Also, http://www.genesistweaks.com is a great resource for simple changes if you don't have a relationship with a designer currently.

    thank you so much for directing me to genesistweaks! I appreciate it. I used to know how to do all this stuff... then I took some time off and just don't have the patience to relearn it all!
