    Hi,

    I'm having a problem creating a custom.css style for the Beautiful Pro theme. Here is what I did.

    1. Created a custom.css style sheet and uploaded it into the Beautiful Pro theme file

    /*
    Theme Name: Beautiful Pro Theme Child
    Theme URI:
    Description: Beautiful Pro Child Theme for Boulder Neuromovement
    Author: Mary Iannotti
    Author URI:
    Template: Beautiful Pro Theme
    Version:
    */

    media="all"
    h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {
    color: #006838;
    }

    2. I added this code to the end of the functions.php file.

    //*Calls custom.css to load for style customizations
    add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'enqueue_custom_stylesheet' );
    function enqueue_custom_stylesheet() {
    wp_register_style( 'custom-css', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/custom.css' );
    wp_enqueue_style( 'custom-css' );
    }

    I did this with the Enterprise Pro theme and it worked just fine.

    Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks.

    The only think I can see is that your apostrophe's are correct. If you've used the code I see above, that would be one reason. Make sure all of them are in there properly.

    The other thing is, looking at the code, what directory did you place the custom.css file in to, the root or in the child theme folder?

    Hi Anitac,

    The apostrophes were the problem. It's amazing what a second set of eyes can do.

    Thanks for your help.

    If you paste code into a web page without highlighting it will turn the apostrophes around meaning anyone that copies it will break their site so always use Github Gists.
