I'm trying to create a child theme based on the out-of-the-box Genesis Framework theme. Basically, I want to duplicate the style of the framework, and then modify from there. Unfortunately, I don't have ftp access to the directory, but I can upload new themes through WordPress. Is there a default child theme I can download from somewhere? Not the sample child theme-I want the framework style.
Make a duplicate of your style.css file and any other file you want to have in your child theme, adjust the header of that .css file to have the genesis child theme header, zip it, and then upload it through your WP dashboard like any other theme. Make sure you have the parent theme installed as well.

Thanks. If I ever get access to my.studiopress.com that actually works so I can download Genesis 2.0, I'll do that. Right now, logging in to my.studiopress.com keeps bouncing me back to my.studiopress.com/themes and all the links under My Studiopress have locks on them.
