    Hi,

I am using an old Lifestyle theme at http://www.gourmetchocolatereviews.co.uk. I wanted to ask how can I put a category item on the top primary menu where the pages are?

The other question is, on category pages like this http://www.gourmetchocolatereviews.co.uk/category/milk-chocolate/, how can I get rid of the bit that says 'Filed under' and lists tags?
    Thanks
    Dawn 🙂

    Hi Aurore,

Are you using a version of WP that allows you to use Custom Menus?

I would think that you just need to go to the the Menus in the back end and Add the desired Category to the Menu that is being used for pages.

    Regarding the second question:

There's a function you can add to your functions.php file that will remove the Post Meta that you're describing.

You can find that code snippet here: http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/post-meta/#remove

    Hi Chris,

No, it's the Genesis Framework, so there is no custom menu setup, it automatically adds pages to the top menu and categories to the bottom one, but I'd like to put some categories on the top menu.

Thank you for the code snippet I will try it.

    Hi Dawn,

I'm not sure what you mean when you say

it's the Genesis Framework, so there is no custom menu setup

Genesis does support Custom Menus if you go to Appearance > Menus in the admin area, you should be able to control the menus from there.

Or, maybe you meant to say "it's not the Genesis Framework"?

    You're running WP 3.2.1 and Genesis 1.1.3.

Any sort of official or community support will say to update to the latest stable versions of both, before any more help can be given.
