That is not the best plan, if you don't have coding skills.

To code it yourself, you have to create the form, but you also have to create some code that will actually "send/email" the form. That is the difficult part.
The contact form plugins do just exactly this.

If you use Jetpack, they have the easiest contact form module.
If you don't use Jetpack, you can search the WordPress plugins to find one that has a lot of users and good reviews.
