    Hi - apologies in advance for what may be a simple fix or silly question :0)

    I am currently editing the Executive Theme - change colours/fonts etc:

    Executive Theme here: http://demo.studiopress.com/executive/layouts/cs/

    My site here: http://www.hh-wordpress.co.uk/vls/?p=64

    For some reason I cannot see the rectangular blue box "6 COMMENTS" with the bg-comments.png white icon which sits beside the "6 Comments"

    I am assuming this is because of a change to a Post setting rather than due to a CSS edit. The box was there this morning....

    Can anyone help please?

    Gary :0)

    I have reset the CSS back to default settings and no change so it is not a CSS issue so reset back to my custom cSS.

    Can anyone assist with this please?

    Your cheeky answer, and that's the last gratis one for today. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Well, that's an odd one. I see the exact "blue" code that's in the demo in your own CSS. I don't have Executive, although it is a nice theme. I would have to guess that there is a color selector in that theme, and that when you choose "green", it turns off the blue bit, rather than making it green.

    You could try a bit of code like the following:

    .post-info .comments {
      background-color: [your colour choice here];
    }

    And you'll want to locate it below the other "postinfo comments" block.

    Cheers, Dave

    Thanks Dave and I do really appreciate your time looking at this :0)

    Tried that code but no joy - as you say it is an odd one especially as I did try replacing the entire CSS code with the default original and still didn't show the original blue box.....

    I haven't switched on a colour just been working on the default blue one.

    It was there when I first installed hence me thinking it was some sort of setting that I had changed somewhere.

    Not to worry - I'll keep looking!

    And seriously thank you again for your time.

    Gary,
    Sounds good. I would check with official support - they're in that theme more than I am, i.e., more than zero. ๐Ÿ™‚ And it is conceivable that you happened upon a bug!

    Good luck, Dave
