    Hello,

    I want to have my content (it is an image) right after the header with no air or gap in there. I know i should be looking at the style sheet and have been able to close it considerably but still not to the fullest. Any ideas as to where else should i look? or do? or try?

    Also, i would love to have this only for my homepage and still have some air on inner pages/posts but i know that could be worked around. So this is what i am trying to archive:

    http://raulcorderostudio.com/RC1/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/base.jpg

    And this is where i am:

    * I understand that if my widgets "grow" they will create a gap at the bottom, that is fine as long as i can get that picture closer to the header.

    Thanks!

    I just did a quick check with Chrome Developer Tools and looks like if you set a rule like this:

    .home .entry {
        padding: 0;
    }

    ...your slider should bump right up on the top. Since it will have the .home, it will affect just the home page, not anything else. HTH

    Hi all,

    I have tried Robin's code and that worked great but i still cant close the gap for the footer. I have tried adding a negative margin to the site-footer and that kind of closes the gap but that changes more stuff (height of footer, adds a horizontal scroll, "shortens" the header and moves the text on the footer

    .site-footer {
    margin: -60px;
    }

    Any ideas as to what else can be done...? What i want is to have the footer right up to the image... like so:

    Thanks

    Add a margin-bottom: 0; to the same rule (sorry, I thought you only were worried about the top). That will close up quite a bit, but it looks like there is an extra <br> and blank paragraph in your entry content at the end. You may want to check in the text editor and delete anything after your meta-slider div (there is also a span which may be empty? also, be careful if you are not used to the text editor view).

    Robin, Thanks a lot!! i feel kind of dumb having tried so many other things fiddling all over the place instead of where i should have :S i do feel comfortable in the editor view and playing with the style sheet but i guess i am not so familiar with genesis and all of its parts

    Thank you 🙂
