Hi all - please excuse me if this is a dumb question (but I have tried to do a bit of research first!). I am using Parallax theme, but I'm thinking that I should really create a child theme of my own based on parallax so that if I change functions.php, or style.css, any update to the Parallax theme wouldn't overwrite. Is this correct logic? Will a child theme of a child theme work (i.e. parallax becomes the parent theme, rather than Genesis?). Thanks for your help. No URL to point at yet, just setting it up.
You can't make Child theme of a Child theme. Currently WordPress is not providing any functionality about it.
Actually child theme is not updating everytime. So you can feel free modify the Child theme.
