    I always wanted to change the theme for my site. Its been almost 6 years since I've been sticking with the theme Agency Pro. My site is http://adultacnetreatmentreviews.com.

    I do actually like the Infinity Pro theme. However I always have this fear that while changing a new theme for a site would probably mess up everything. For eg. currently I have the slider on my site on the homepage. Where will this slider go should I change to Infinity Pro?

    This new theme doesn't seem to have a header where I can place my banner and the logo and of course the name of my website. How would I do that on this new theme. I just wished I could do all this transformation to a new theme without any glitch.

    Can anyone advise me on this please? Much appreciated! 🙂

    Sunil:

    If you switch to a new theme, any content in widget areas from your existing theme will likely more to the "inactive widgets" section in your dashboard (sometimes the content from the primary sidebar will move into another widget location (such as the header right widget).

    Does your hosting allow sub-directories, or add-on domains? You may find it easier to set up the new theme on that site, and then export all the widget settings etc. to your existing site.

    Wow! Finally someone answered my inquiry! Thanks for that Susan.

    Yes. I contacted my host which is namecheap.com and they have set up a staging site for me to do the testing. However the staging site could not really replicate the live site version as they said wordpress sites are actually pretty complicated with their settings.

    I have not really done any testing so far. Just looking around for a nice theme to replace my current one. I have to make it look really professional and to get a theme relevant for my acne niche seems a bit difficult here. 🙁

    Most of the SP themes aren't niche-specific, but can be customized to your needs. Web Savvy Marketing do some more niche-specific themes (for example for medical professionals, business owners etc), so you might find one to your liking there.
