In settings > general, I think I entered the wrong address at first. I'm building a site whose address I want to be http://www.lcr-lagauche.org (I'm using the "coming soon" plugin now) but in my setting I list the URL (twice) as http://www.lcr-sap.be/lcr-lagauche.org because my client has a French version of the site and a Flemish version (we're in Belgium), and each respective language is in a folder of its own under the root domain "http://www.lcr-sap.be". So in the French version, when I changed the URL in settings to http://www.lcr-lagauche.org, it broke the site. I was able to go back,  so it's not broken anymore, but every page shows the root in the URL (http://www.lcr-sap.be/lcr-lagauche.org/pauvre-et-femme-en-belgique/) and I don't want that. How can I change the site address so that every page and post URL reflects the change?

You can't do that in WP.

ALso maybe post  in the wordpress.org forums as this is not theme related and there are more people there to give you an idea of what you should do.
