    I would like to place the welcome widget and the mailchimp widget side by side and wonder if this is possible to do in Ambiance.
    My site is lesleyhobbs.net

    If you are able to help, please give detailed instructions as I am learning all this as I go.
    Many thanks 🙂

    Hi Lesley. Add the below code to your theme stylesheet, before the media queries section:

    .welcome-message .widget {
    float: left;
    width: 50%;
    padding: 0 40px;
    }

    .welcome-message .wrap {
    width: 1200px;
    }

    Comprehensive, easy to follow Genesis documentation

    Thanks Carlo. That fixed the placement.

    Do you happen to know how to make the MailChimp widget smaller?
