    I have been trying to work with this for awhile and I finally came across this site to effectively change the header logo to link to another website rather than the home page of the current site. In all eagerness, I added the code to the end of the Eleven40 Pro child theme's function.php file and ftp'd it to replace the original on the child theme.

    Unfortunately, this results in the header image to be almost totally blanked out (except for the very top) and it is not clickable.

    I went to get further instructions but the author wants $45 for this information. I am disabled and don't have the extra cash to pay for this.

    Is there anything else I need to do to make this code work? As instructed, I added it to the bottom of the file with one space separating the code above it and added the URL where indicated replacing the "http://example.com" with the desired URL.

    I will leave the updated functions.php file in place so anyone taking a look can see the error. It won't hurt my building out the rest of the site.

    The following is the code I added to the file:

    add_filter('genesis_seo_title', 'change_header_image_link', 10, 3);
    function change_header_image_link($title, $inside, $wrap) {
    $inside = sprintf( '%s', esc_attr( get_bloginfo('name') ), get_bloginfo('name') );
    $title = sprintf('<%s id="title">%s</%s>', $wrap, $inside, $wrap);
    return $title;
    }

    Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

    Note that the code provided has been partially stripped when I added it and apparently allowed only one editing session so I could not remove it. The original code is in the link at the top of the post.

    I fixed it!

    Going to source, which is within the section on code snippets on the StudioPress help area, and copying the snippet from there did the trick! Do know which version child theme you have (HTML5 or HTMLX) There are two separate codes and they are accordingly labeled.

    The site where I first got the code evidently has an error in it somewhere, even though I went to the Gist raw code as instructed. I hope this isn't a deliberate ploy to get folks to fork over money for extra code instructions! In any case, I'm a happy camper now!

    For anyone else who runs into this issue, just go to the source and get the source from there.

    This is RESOLVED!
