    Is it possible to make the default template for the Essence Pro theme with the sidebar but keep the homepage as a full-width template? I know I can change each page individually, but that becomes very cumbersome when the only page I want to have full width is the homepage. Thanks to anyone who can help. The site is not live, so I don't have a URL to share.

    What happens if you add this code in functions.php?

    add_filter( 'genesis_site_layout', '__genesis_return_content_sidebar' );

    There might be more to do however this should get you started.
