    I'm using the Centric Pro child theme, it's perfect for my application with the exception of a couple of things.

    1. I need to move the header right widget to a div below the title-area so the primary menu is below this div.
    2. I will probably have to disable the shrink effect, I know this is the themes signature but it's a bit much on a smartphone, I will only show the logo and a phone number in the header for mobile.

    Has anyone moved the header right widget like this?

    Regards

    Bob

    Unless you have some other purpose for the primary navigation menu, you can simply remove any menu from Header Right and assign it to the primary navigation menu, and reposition the primary navigation

    1. Paste the following code at the bottom of your child theme's functions.php file:

    /** Reposition the primary navigation */
    remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );
    add_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_do_nav', 20 );
