Centric Pro: Changed logo size but header too tall

I have a 259w x80h logo and I am have Design Palette Pro. Thanks to another discussion, I went into Functions.php and changed the logo size to this so it wouldn't crop the logo:

I adjusted the general header padding from 40 to 15px in Design Palette Pro, but below the logo there is too much blue background, even if I put padding at 0px. How do I get reduce the height of the background?

I just noticed that the logo compresses vertically as I scroll. I need to be able to keep that from happening please.

I can't help with your original question, but I think I have an answer to your question about the logo compressing vertically as you scroll. Someone seems to have answered this question in a post just the other day:

That didn't work but it got me in where I could just remove the shrink code for the header, which did the trick!

Now I just have to figure out how to reduce the height in the header.site-header and I should be all set.

@kongo: I think you're looking to adjust or eliminate this at line 1129 in your child theme stylesheet :

.site-header .wrap {
  min-height: 160px;
}
