    Hello, I am new to WordPress and Genesis.

    It seems that I am only allowed to create CATEGORIES for posts. Is there a way for me to create categories for PAGES as well so that I can organize the pages I create?

    WordPress is set up to allow you to assign categories to posts only. Think of categories as folders in a filing cabinet, each article you write goes into one folder allowing you to organise all your writing.

    Pages are generally far fewer in number than posts and don't require categorisation - you just put them directly into the menu, if appropriate.
