I'm looking at using the Executive Pro Child Theme, in the Demo this Theme has 6 Featured Pages displayed in 3 columns. I would like to display 3 Featured Pages or Text Widgets to display several Services and then 3 Case Studies.
I was looking at using the built in Portfolio CPT to add the Case Studies, would anyone be able to suggest how I could display the most recently added case studies to the Front Page?
Any suggestions are much appreciated, thank you.
These are both good for custom post types; the first one is a bit simpler, so it would depend on the choices you need.

Thank you Marcy, would these Plugins > Widgets allow you to display the most recently added CPT? Or would you have to change the CPT entry within each Widget, so when adding a new entry for let's say our Portfolio CPT. We would navigate to the Widget and change it to our recently added entry.
The Genesis Featured Page Advanced Widget seems good.
