    I would like to add a border and background to my pics that have a caption. Right now they just have the text below them and thats it. No container at all. I've looked everywhere and can't locate it.

    Thanks

    You'd most likely need to style this with CSS. If you link to a post with a captioned image, I'll point you in the right direction.

    Alrighty, you can add this to your CSS:

    .wp-caption {
    border: 1px solid #333;
    background-color: #f5f5f5;
    padding: 5px;
    }

    For the border, 1px controls how big it is (increase the number for a thicker border) and #333 controls the color (change 333 to the hexcode of the color you want to use).

    For the background color: change f5f5f5 to the hexcode of the color you want to use.

    The padding is the area between the border and the actual image. You can change the number to whatever you want, or remove it altogether if you don't want any space between the image and the border.

    That works great. Thank you so much.
