    I built this site (Genesis, Minimum Child Theme) a couple of years ago and it was working just fine until recently. Now, pages with content extending beyond a certain point don't allow one to scroll to or access that content. The site owners say all they've done since I turned the site over to them is update wordpress and the Genesis framework.

    If you view source the content is there.

    I updated all plugins.
    I added:

    html {
    overflow:auto !important;
    }

    to the style sheet.
    I changed overflow:hidden to overflow:auto in all content areas. And now I'm stumped.

    If you click over to the Media page you'll see the problem. I've tried on Mac using Safari, Firefox and Chrome.

    Thanks,
    Lisa

    I've got it. The overflow line here is doing it.

    body {
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
     overflow: hidden;
    height: 100%;
    }

    But actually my initial anti-Flash reaction is a good clue... the Flash code is generating the above gunk, so you can't even get rid of it by editing a CSS file. The bottom line is to either edit or get rid of the Flash code. So you were definitely close!

    Cheers, Dave

    Brilliant! That did it. I was able to access the flash script and changed "hidden" to "visible." I only wonder why it hadn't caused problems earlier.

    And, sad note, I almost wish it hadn't been fixed. They added a big image of a flyer to the bottom of my lovely home page design. Oh well, those are the breaks!

    Thank you, Dave

    Lisa,
    You're welcome, I'm glad that helped.

    Indeed, one's best work can be sullied. I did a huge project for a famous person's site awhile ago, and they overrode and torched so many sensible ideas that I'm still not sure if I want to own up to it. ๐Ÿ™‚ Maybe I will later, with commentary, on my portfolio. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Best,
    Dave
