    Hi,

    I can't seem to figure out how to prevent the Education Pro theme from populating my home page with my posts beneath the Home - Middle widget area. Even when I delete all posts it inserts the following copy in a box: "Sorry, no content matched your criteria."

    Any thoughts on how I might remove this feature are greatly appreciated!

    What happens if you add this to the front-page.php file:

    remove_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_do_loop' );

    That did the trick - thanks so much!

    Hi, I had this same issue. I did the fix you recommended

    remove_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_do_loop' );

    And it removed the blog posts, but left the widget sidebar. Also I notice that when the sidebars aren't present there is still a blank space for the blog excerpts to sit.

    What do you think I could try to remove the space entirely?

    Regards
    Jesse
