    I'm trying to post in the General Discussions area - after hitting the Submit button, nothing shows up. Am I missing something?

    Are you adding lots of links? It may be getting marked as spam.

    Susan,

    that seems to have been the issue, though there were just two links. I tried changing http to h**p and still it wouldn't work. So I had to remove them completely.

    How can a link be posted ... if a link can't be posted?

    You can post a link; you will just get flagged as spam if you post multiple links.
