    Bluehost WordPress 3.9.1, http://evergreencellular.com/, I can't install any theme. When I click "Add New" on the Appearance Themes" page, I always get "An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration." I have Twenty Fourteen loaded, but can't install any other theme, including Genesis. I can install plugins.

    I've googled and am not sure about the three suggestions:
    1. Malware, and there's a long list of URLs to do. This is an inactive site with just a sample page.
    2. Failure to compile PHP with cULR. No idea what this means, I have not messed with the PHP.
    3. Tweak the proxy settings. I'm a home user, and I have no problems installing themes in other WP sites.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Try and delete Twenty Fourteen using cPanel > File Manager or FTP

    I deleted the "Disable Comments" plugin and everything works now, thanks.
