    I'm trying to add this weather forecast script - http://www.swellmap.com/info/forecastplugins - to a widget area on my homepage at upsurfcoaching.co.nz

    When I look at my source code it seems to match the instructions on the swellmap site but nothing appears?

    <script type="text/javascript" src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="swellmap/js/jquery.swellmap.js"></script>
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="swellmap/css/jquery.swellmap.css" />
    <script type="text/javascript">
        $(document).ready(function () {
            $("#piha").swellmap({
                site: "Piha",
                activity: "Surfing"
            });
        });
    </script>

    I added the script to the header script area at genesis>theme settings, and have added <div id="piha"></div> within the widget text area.

    Have I missed something? I am wondering whether I need to enqueue the script but no nothing about that yet. Would be great if someone can offer a few tips to point me in the right direction.

    Thanks

    Thanks Sridhar for your awesome tutorial! I followed everything and it didn't work at first but I read that I needed to change the $ symbols to jQuery. Once I did that it worked perfectly.

    All the best.
