Can StudioPress Themes allow me to do what I do with iThemes Builder?

Meaning, in iThemes Builder, I can easily setup custom layouts, where I can put the navigation section, at the top, or the bottom, etc., and I can put an image area just above the navigation, or below it (as I might want), or put the main content section at the top of the layout, and then the navigation below that, and then an image area or widget areas below that, etc.

I really do like StudioPress themes and designs, but I'm curious if there's any way to be able to use StudioPress themes and designs, but have the flexibility to create a virtually unlimited number of layout styled options?

Is there a plugin or add-on that would allow me to do this (with any StudioPress theme)? Typically I just see a handful of layout options in StudioPress for each theme, with no way to really (easily) move things (meaning the layout sections, such as the widget areas, navigation, header area, etc.) around, etc.

Does anyone have any thoughts or comments?

    Gary

You could take a look at the Dynamik and Genesis Extender plugins here http://cobaltapps.com/

Their Dynamik Website Builder seems like it would be great for you!
