Cafe Pro – Credits Removal?

Hi team,

I can't seem to be able to remove the credits "Handcrafted with love" on Cafe Pro theme.

Something odd?

If you find editing the functions file a bit daunting, you can also use the Genesis Simple Edits plugin:

Two Tips:

First, here is StudioPress' example html you can enter into the field for the footer credit text.

Second, you might want to leave the love! (aka dashicons-heart) You can use any of the dashicons in in the footer. More on dashicons here:

Just FYI, I had to remove a block of code from functions.php, in Cafe Pro theme, to get the simple-edits plugin to affect the footer credits.
