    I want to build a site using buddypress. Do the newer html5 themes integrate well with bp? I know about Genesis connect I downloaded that. without that plugin the design looked pretty bad but I used it on lifestyle pro I want to use it on magazine pro. Any input would be appreciated.

    Hey outlawgt, thanks for posting this topic.

    I'm in a similar boat as you, and have been looking for some guidance on how to properly integrate BuddyPress (Version 2.1.1) to the Genesis Framework. I'm using the Magazine Pro child theme as well.

    Any help to this topic would be awesome!

    Hi outlawgt. I'm not sure what you want to know. 'How do I integrate BuddyPress with Genesis?' is a very fuzzy question. You said you installed the Genesis Connect plugin, then what? What do you need that you don't have?

    I guess I was wondering if it provides any type of styling. As it is the account area looks pretty bland with no styling to speak of.

    I could be wrong, but I don't think any of the StudioPress themes have styling for BuddyPress. You'd have to get a custom design.
