Tagged: "bouncing" menu
Hi, I'm a forum and WP newbie. I need some help/advice on my site. I have no idea why the main menu is "bouncing" when I click it. Below is a short video to show what's going on:

I must add though that I use Autoptimize to defer js files and used the feature to "Inline and Defer CSS" where I copy-pasted the critical path CSS. I believe this is the one causing the issue. But how can I identify which JS file(s) or CSS file(s) to exclude so that the menu doesn't bounce? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
Mike
https://www.chilimath.com/Hi,
looks like the menu stays actually fixed but the body is moving up and down.
I'd take a look if your critical path CSS and the minified CSS are having different values. e.g. critical path sets margin-top/padding-top to 100px and deferred CSS overrides it with margin-top/padding-top: 50px...
I think you are using visual composer so that might add something to the mix as well... you'll have to go through some trial and error.
