I want to create a page with the Blog Template to display content from a given category. Easy peasy. I also want to have some content at the top of this page to be displayed, ie I'd like what I type into the content area to be shown above the blog post list.

Is this possible in a straightforward way? Obviously I can "hack" it and use a "pin to top" post, but I'd rather not if I don't have to. Thanks for the insight.
