    Hello:
As I've been planning a website and looking at various Genesis Themes, I see page layouts that I like and styling that I like - not necessarily in the same theme. Are all of the Studiopress themes capable of the same layouts?

For example in the NewsPro and Magazine Pro themes, the home page uses content/sidbar layout, and the content column is further divided into single-column and double-colummn sections. In the Enterprise Pro Theme, there is a single full width column. Aesthetically, I like the way the posts are separated from the background in Enterprise Pro. Can Enterprise be configured to have the same layout as Magazine?

    Another question:
Looking at the home page of the Magazine Pro demo, if I wanted to have 2 rows of two in the "Travel" section, could I do that using stock theme layout/widgets or would it require customization?
    Thanks.

On your last question, the Travel section of the Magazine Pro demo is using a Genesis Featured post widget which lets you specify the number of posts you want to show -- it has 2 but you can change that to 4 without customizations.

On your other question, yes any theme can be customized to add or take away items. I recommend you get a theme that is as close to what you want and go from there.

    Thanks for the reply.
Looking at the home pages of the theme demos, if I were to create something that has content laid out like Magazine Pro, but the styling of Enterprise Pro, which would be easier to start with?

I would start with the theme with the most content on the home page -- Magazine. Then you would use CSS to style the header and footer to match Enterprise. Depending on what you end up doing, you may have to register an area to accept a widget on the home for the large featured page (which is set by the Genesis featured page plugin that comes included) at the top of the Enterprise theme home page and also style that with CSS. In the long run, I would be fewer things to do, whether you do them yourself or hire out.
