I think I'm missing something obvious here, but do you know how to have the main nav (menu at top of the page) auto generated from all the pages in the site, with drop-down menus for sub-pages? We'd like to avoid having to  manually build a menu of the site and then manually add new pages all the time. I can see how to create menus, but not how to have it autogenerated for the primary nav.

    Thanks

I don't think you can automatically add sub-pages without a plugin. For top level pages, check the box beside "Automatically add new top-level pages" next to the menu name. I found these two plugins that might do what you need for the sub-pages: Add Descendants As Submenu Items and Gecka Submenu. Hope this helps.
