I have inherited a badly made child theme, that when I updated the Geneisis Framework, fell apart. In fact, the Genesis Framework was so old that it would't let me auto update, I had to overwrite it. It is Version: 2.10.1.

What is the best thing to do? Throw out the child theme, and start all over? Or is there another way?

Best to start over. That's a really old theme.
