    In Author Pro, the books page automatically displays the books from most to least recent. However, I want to order them first by series, and then by the first one published to the most recently published, so that the reader sees them in order (not reverse order).

    StudioPress suggested I adjust the publication date to fool the plugin into putting the oldest one first, but that would mean I either have a false publication date or none at all. The first isn't an option, and the second isn't ideal

    I am pleased to say I just misunderstood the StudioPress support. I don't need to change the book's publication date, but the publication date of the post itself. So, the most recent book needs to be given a false publication book to make WordPress think it was an earlier book.
