    I elected to show only a summary of posts on the blog page, with featured image. I normally expect the […] at the end of the summary text to automatically link to the post, but it doesn't. The link is on the image and the title only.

    I looked everywhere to fix this (Genesis Theme Settings, Reading Settings).

    This is the source code.

    Are you using the content limit or excerpt in your settings?

    I'm using excerpt in settings. The content limit option is not available in the Settings.

    You can use code like this to add a read more link to the excerpt https://codex.wordpress.org/Customizing_the_Read_More
