    Hi,

I wonder if someone could help or advise. I'm using WordPress 4.5 with the Genesis framework and the child-theme Modern Portfolio. I need to showcase images of different sizes (screenshots of various digital assets). I want to do this, by having the tallest image align to the left and then have the shorter images, of various sizes, stack up to the right of the first image.

This wouldn't be a special gallery page: it would be a normal post. So there'd be a main image, some text, and then the stacked images below that.

I cannot find a way of doing this. All of the image-gallery plugins I've found so far seem to only work with identically sized images on a grid or carousel. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

I've mocked up what I mean, showing it for the desktop and the mobile view. See the links here:

    Any help much appreciated.

    Best regards

    Karl

I don't think there is a way to do that automatically.

The closest i know of is using Masonry or the Jetpack gallery options.

Unless you layered them manually over a background.

    Hi Brad,

Thank you very much. I'll check out the Masonry gallery and see if I can use to get something like the layout I'm after.

When say manually layered, do you mean inputting the html and css manually using the editor?

    Thanks

    Karl

No, i mean layering the images over 1 background image using a graphic design application.
